Why shops choose it

FOUR REASONS, BEFORE ANY FEATURE LIST

You are not
the first

Real money already moves through this billing engine every working day — for clinics and pharmacies where a wrong bill is not an inconvenience. You are buying something that has already been used, not something about to be tested on you.

Running in production inside VixitAi HMS today.

Your GST
files clean

Bill numbers never repeat, never skip and never clash — not even when three people bill in the same second. A broken number series is what becomes a notice from the department months later, and this one cannot break.

Gapless numbering enforced in the database, per business.

Bill once —
stock moves itself

Making the bill is the stock entry. No second register, no evening spent reconciling, no shelf that says one thing while the software says another. Enter it once and everything downstream already knows.

Every screen writes through one stock-movement engine.

Priced for a shop,
not a company

No fee per bill. No fee per staff member. Pricing that charges you more for growing is pricing that makes you use the software less — so it is not how this one is built.

Runs lean enough that it does not need enterprise pricing.

YOU ALREADY KNOW
WHERE IT HURTS

Not a feature list. The three things that actually cost you money this month.

“My billing says one thing, my stock says another.”

A bill book, a spreadsheet and somebody’s memory. Every sale is entered twice, the two never quite match, and at month end you reconcile instead of selling. One software, one entry: raising the invoice is the stock movement.

“I find out something ran out when a customer asks for it.”

Stock is only real if it is counted as it moves. Purchase orders, goods received, issues and adjustments all write through one engine — so the number on screen is the number on the shelf, and low stock and expiry reach you before the customer does.

“I can’t tell who did what.”

Shared logins, no trail, and a discount nobody remembers approving. Every person gets their own account with their own permissions, and every invoice, every price change and every stock adjustment carries the name of who did it.

EVERYTHING IN
ONE SOFTWARE

Every line below is marked Live if it is running in production today, or Building if it is not. Nobody labels their own gaps. We would rather you find them here than in the demo — including the one pillar that is entirely Building.

BILLING & INVOICING

The counter, and everything downstream of it.

  • LiveGST tax invoices with correct CGST/SGST/IGST split, computed from an inclusive price so the printed total is the price you quoted
  • LiveGapless invoice numbering that cannot repeat or collide, with your own prefix and financial-year series
  • LiveInvoice PDF, emailed to the customer automatically
  • LivePrint on your own letterhead, or let the software print the header — a per-document toggle
  • LiveOnline payment links and cards via Razorpay, plus monthly auto-pay mandates
  • LivePart payments, credit, and a running outstanding balance per customer
  • LiveQuotes and estimates that convert into an invoice
  • LiveMultiple branches, each with its own data and its own numbering
  • BuildingCredit notes and sales returns
  • BuildingThermal receipt printing (58mm / 80mm rolls)
  • BuildingBarcode scanning at the counter
  • BuildingOffline billing that syncs when the connection returns
  • BuildingGovernment e-invoice (IRN & QR) and e-way bills

ENTIRE STOCK INVENTORY

Purchase to shelf to sale, on one movement engine.

  • LiveItem master with categories, units and HSN codes
  • LiveSupplier master with full purchase history
  • LiveThe complete chain: indent → purchase order → goods received → issue, each with its own document number
  • LivePartial goods receipt against a purchase order
  • LiveBatch-wise stock with expiry dates, visible at the point of sale
  • LiveStock adjustments that require a reason and record who made them
  • LiveOne central movement engine, so no screen anywhere can move stock without leaving an audit row
  • LiveBulk item import from a CSV — your existing list, not re-typed
  • LiveLow-stock and near-expiry alerts pushed to your phone
  • BuildingGodown-to-godown transfers
  • BuildingStock valuation (FIFO / weighted average)
  • BuildingGuided physical stock-take and cycle counting
  • BuildingSerial-number tracking for high-value goods

THE AI PART

What it will do, and what it runs on. None of it is live yet.

  • BuildingReorder suggestions from your own sales history — what to buy, how much, and before when
  • BuildingExpiry-risk alerts that rank batches by what will actually go unsold, not just by date
  • BuildingAsk your shop a question in plain Hindi or English — “what sold most last Diwali?” — and get the report
  • BuildingAnomaly flags on stock adjustments and discounts, so an unusual write-off is noticed the same day

Each of these is computed from data the system already records — movement history, batch dates, the audit trail, invoice lines. That is why they are a roadmap and not a wish list. Today the product is the billing and stock engine below; the AI is what we are building on top of it.

STAFF MANAGEMENT

Who can do what, and who actually did it.

  • LiveAn account per person — no more shared logins
  • LiveRole-based permissions checked on the server, not just hidden in the screen
  • LiveTurn whole modules on or off per plan, and trial one before you pay for it
  • LiveInstant revoke: remove somebody and they are logged out of every device immediately, not whenever their session expires
  • LiveEvery invoice, price change and stock adjustment carries the name of who did it
  • LivePush notifications to the right person when something needs them
  • LiveYou can always reach your own user admin — staff access is never behind a paywall
  • BuildingAttendance and shift roster
  • BuildingPayroll and salary slips — deliberately after attendance, because payroll without it is just typing
  • BuildingSales commission and incentives per staff member
  • BuildingLeave management
Reporting, across all three: daybook, sales and collections, GST-ready summaries with the tax split stored per line rather than recomputed later, receivables ageing, stock movement, and an owner dashboard that works on a phone — all Live. Stock valuation and Building Tally/Excel export are the two gaps, and export ships before we take a rupee from anybody.

THE FOUR REASONS
PEOPLE SAY NO

Every one of these is a fair objection. Here are the straight answers, before you have to ask.

“Moving my data will be a nightmare”

You send us the file you already have

Item lists, suppliers and opening stock import from a CSV or an Excel sheet — the one your accountant already keeps. Nobody re-types a catalogue. If your list is a mess, we clean it with you before you go live, not after.

“My internet drops every day”

Named as a gap, not glossed over

Offline billing is Building and it is the top item on the roadmap, because a counter that stops when the line drops is not a counter. Today the software needs a connection. We would rather tell you that now than let you find out on a Saturday.

“My staff will never learn it”

Billing is one screen

The person at the counter sees the counter. Purchase orders, permissions and reports live behind roles they never open. Training a biller takes an afternoon; the owner’s screens are the ones with depth, and you can learn those at your own pace.

“What if I want to leave?”

Then you leave, with your data

Full export is Building and it ships before we take money from anybody — that ordering is deliberate. There is no per-invoice fee and no charge for adding a staff member: software that bills you for using it more is software that wants you to use it less.

BUILT FOR THE BUSINESSES
THAT COUNT STOCK

If billing and stock are the same job for you, this is aimed at you. If they are not, tell us — we would rather say no than sell you the wrong thing.

Retail & kirana

Fast counter, batch and expiry, supplier credit, and a daybook that closes itself at night.

Pharmacy & medical stores

Batch-wise expiry tracking is the part already hardened in production — it came from real pharmacy use, not a spec.

Distributors & wholesale

Purchase orders, partial goods receipt, outstanding per party, multi-branch stock.

Clinics & labs

Already served today by VixitAi HMS. This is the same engine, unbundled for everyone else.

On price: we have not set one, and we are not going to invent a tier table to fill this space. What we can commit to now: no fee per invoice, no charge per staff member, and no charge to get your data out. Early-access businesses help set the price, and keep it.

WHAT SHIPS NEXT

In the order people ask for it, not in the order it is easiest to build.

First

Offline billing & thermal printing

The counter keeps working when the line drops, and the bill comes off a roll printer instead of an A4 sheet. The two things that stop this being usable in a real shop.

Next

Data export & Tally

Full export of everything you have put in, plus a Tally-shaped file for your accountant. Ships before the first invoice we send you.

Then

Attendance, then payroll

Shift roster and attendance first; salary slips and commission on top of it. In that order, because payroll built on guessed hours is worse than no payroll.

Compliance

E-invoice & e-way bill

Government IRN and QR generation, and e-way bills for goods in transit. Needs a certified provider integration, so it is dated when that is signed — not before.

SEE IT ON YOUR OWN NUMBERS

Fifteen minutes, your actual item list, your actual bill format. If it does not fit your business, we will say so on the call.

Early access. Tell us what you sell and how you bill it today — that is the whole first conversation.
