Most of what VixitAi Labs ships is product: clinic software, business tools, websites. This section is the other half of the work — problems we have researched in depth, written up as either a proposal (a system designed in detail but not yet deployed) or a capability note (something built and measured on real data). Each page says plainly which it is, what is running today and what is not.
Chokepoint Sentinel
An AI macro-telemetry early-warning system for global food security — submitted to the UNCTAD 2nd Supply Chain Innovation Challenge.
It watches the fourteen physical chokepoints that the world’s grain moves through, simulates what a restriction at any one of them does to national food reserves downstream, and aims to give import-dependent governments thirty to ninety days of warning. Its fifth layer, the Stranded Cargo Liquidity Hub, handles the case where the warning comes too late: a diverted cargo on a spoilage clock is matched with a pre-vetted regional buyer at a published distress price, in hours rather than the fortnight a manual search takes. Capability noteSPARSE
Detecting and tracking resident space objects directly in a neuromorphic camera’s event stream, never reconstructing a frame — run on real telescope recordings at 0.17 ms per inference on two CPU cores, with no GPU.
An event camera on a tracking telescope only reports pixels that change, so after noise rejection almost everything left came from something that moved. SPARSE keeps the work in that event stream from decode to track instead of rendering frames for a conventional detector. Measured on a real EBSSA recording:- 0.17 ms mean end-to-end latency, 57× faster than real time
- two CPU cores, NumPy and SciPy, nothing trained
- accuracy on real data is weak (F1 0.063), and the note explains why
