Authors & editorial policy
The guides and calculators on VixitAI are published by the two co-founders of VixitAi Labs. This page says who we are, how the guides are put together, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
How the guides are written
- Primary sources first. When we write or revise a guide, tax rates, limits and rules are taken from the government body that sets them, such as the tax authority or the official gazette, not from other blogs. Where a figure changes every year, the article should say which year it applies to. If one doesn't, tell us.
- Dates you can see. Every article shows the date it was published, and an "updated" date once it has been revised. An article is re-dated only when its content changes.
- Linked to a working tool. Most guides pair with one of our free calculators, so you can run your own numbers rather than rely on an example.
- No paid placements. No article is sponsored. If a guide ever names a product we make, it says so.
What the guides are not
The guides explain how rules and calculations work. They are not personal financial, tax or legal advice. Neither of us is a chartered accountant, tax adviser or licensed financial planner. For a decision that depends on your own situation, check with a qualified professional. Our full disclaimer applies to every page.
Corrections
If you find a wrong figure, an out-of-date rule or a calculator that gives a wrong answer, email labs@vixitai.com with the page link. Confirmed mistakes are fixed and the article's "last updated" date moves.
